If there is anything that I admire in most Americans, it is their devotion and patriotism to their country.

When I was young, our country emulated their daily rituals of the raising the flag in the morning and letting the flag down in the afternoon. And we did that everyday!

We also placed our hands across our chest, over our heart to show respect to our country's emblem like they do.

Now, that reverence in allegiance to our poor country's flag becomes a thing in the past which is truly shameful!

This flag arouses that patriotic memory of my own beloved country trampled not by invaders but by our own ...better not say it.

Thanks Sandy for this beautiful picture. America's truest symbol of freedom and liberty!
